Book features
AffiniCore books include a range of features for viewing, sharing, and interacting with your contracts, all accessible from the toolbar at the top of the screen.

1 Views
Use the view selector on the toolbar to switch between:
- Web view β the standard on-screen reading view, with all navigation links active
- Page view β displays the book in a paginated format, closer to the original document layout

2 Accessing the original documents
The original source documents used to create the AffiniCore book are accessible via the Documents tab on the toolbar. From here you can browse and download the original files. See Downloading documents from the Platform for full guidance.

3 Share links
You can share a direct link to any page in the book:
- Email Link β creates a pre-populated email containing the page link
- Copy Link β copies the URL to your clipboard

4 Export as PDF
Use the Export button to download all or part of a book as a PDF. You can export the entire book or a specific chapter. See Downloading documents from the Platform.

5 Zoom
Use the zoom controls on the toolbar to increase or decrease text size within the book.
6 Hiding link colour coding
By default, defined terms and cross-references are colour-coded (blue, green, and red links). If you prefer a cleaner reading view, you can hide the colour coding using the link toggle on the toolbar. The links remain active β they just appear without colour.

7 Show in Folder
Click Show in Folder to navigate to the location of the currently open book within the Platform folder structure.

8 Saving your view preferences
After adjusting your view settings, select Layout and then Save View to preserve your preferences for the next time you open the book.

9 Book information
Click the Information button to view the book's underlying metadata, including project name, parties to the agreement, and date of execution.

10 Interactive features
Books support three further features for capturing knowledge and managing obligations directly at clause level:
- Tasks β manage contractual obligations at the relevant clause, with just-in-time notifications and a compliance audit trail. See Task Manager and AffiniTask: how it works.
- Notes β capture and share knowledge at clause level with other users in your group. See Notes.
- Analysis Tracks β capture and annotate clauses for structured legal review, lessons learned, or issue tracking. See Analysis Tracker.
