Amendments

When an agreement in your Platfrom is amended, we update the live version of the contract to incorporate the amendment — creating a single, unified, fully conformed, up-to-date version for ongoing use.

1  How amendments are reflected in the Platform

Amendments are incorporated directly into the body of the agreement, and the amendment history is accessible at the relevant clause so you can always see what changed and when.

This means you always work from the current, unified, operative version of the contract — with no need to manually cross-reference a separate deed of amendment.

2  Viewing amendment history

2.1  Book level

Look for the ‘Version’ “V” icon at the top of a Book to see if that contract has been amended.

2.2  Clause level

To view the amendment history at a specific clause, click the ‘Amendment’ “A” indicator at the clause. This displays the history of changes made at that location, including the date the amendment was applied.

3 Providing amendments for processing

When a new amendment has been executed, contact your Account Manager or email [e-mail] to arrange for it to be incorporated into the Platform. Where multiple parties to a project have an Affinitext licence, before implementing the changes, we will obtain authorization from all licensed parties. 4 Downloading the original source documents

The original documents used to create the AffiniCore book — including original agreements and any processed amendments — are available under the Documents button within the book. See Downloading documents from the Platform for guidance.
