AffiniTag

AffiniTag is a specialist enrichment layer, available in addition to the core modules, that applies human-verified metadata to every contract in your AffiniCore Platform. It enables attribute-based search and retrieval across your entire portfolio — so you can find contracts and clauses by party, date, value, type, term, framework, or any other attribute you choose, in seconds.

All metadata is reviewed and validated by Affinitext's team to 99.9% accuracy.

1 What AffiniTag captures

1.1  Automatically captured

AffiniCore captures three metadata fields for every book as standard, with no additional configuration required:

• Book name — the title of the contract or document
• Date of execution — the date the contract was executed
• Party names — the contracting parties

These fields are available as search filters from the moment your documents are added to the Platform.

1.2  Custom metadata fields

You can define any additional metadata fields you want captured across your portfolio. There are no prescribed fields — you choose the attributes that matter to your organisation and your contracts.

Common examples include:

• Contract number
• Contract type
• Framework
• Region
• Converted pages
• Date of execution status
• Milestone dates
• Contract value
• Governing law

Affinitext's team applies all custom metadata through a structured, human-validated review process, ensuring consistent and accurate tagging across every book in your Platform.

2  Searching by metadata

Once AffiniTag metadata is applied, every captured field becomes available as a filter in the Search panel. You can combine text search with one or more metadata filters to narrow results precisely — for example, searching for "force majeure" across all SA contracts in a specific framework, or finding all books executed within a particular date range.

Filters can be combined and refined. Results are returned at clause level, with full context, and can be exported to Excel for further analysis.

3  Accuracy

Every metadata field applied by AffiniTag is human-reviewed and validated to 99.9% accuracy. This eliminates the noise and error rates associated with automated extraction tools, which is particularly important across large, complex, or multi-jurisdictional portfolios where inconsistent tagging undermines the value of any search or reporting capability.

4  How AffiniTag works alongside AffiniCore and AffiniAI

AffiniTag works on top of AffiniCore's structural parsing. The metadata layer integrates directly with AffiniCore search and with AffiniAI — combining portfolio-level findability with clause-level navigation and intelligent analysis.
